Parish Community Life

The Hospitality Ministry helps create a warm and welcoming atmosphere at parish gatherings. Volunteers plan and assist with receptions, socials, refreshments, and special events by preparing food, decorating, arranging tables and chairs, serving guests, and helping with cleanup. 

The Bereavement Ministry offers compassionate support to families following the death of a loved one. Volunteers help provide funeral receptions by preparing food, setting up the gathering space, welcoming family and friends, and cleaning up afterward. 

Families Making a Difference provides simple meals and other practical assistance to families experiencing hospitalization, illness, or another difficult circumstance. Through these thoughtful acts of kindness, volunteers help ease daily burdens and remind families that their parish community is praying for and supporting them. 

The Mothers’ Group brings mothers together for friendship, mutual support, and opportunities to strengthen parish community. Activities may include playgroups, social gatherings, faith-centered conversations, and the sharing of experiences and ideas among mothers and their children. 

The Seniors Group offers parishioners age 50 and older opportunities for fellowship and enrichment of mind, body, and spirit. Gatherings may include Mass, shared meals, social activities, presentations, and other opportunities to build friendships within the parish. 

The Widows and Widowers Group provides companionship, encouragement, and social connection for those who have experienced the death of a spouse. Through regular gatherings and shared activities, members support one another while building friendships in a caring faith community.
